Freddie is the leader of the Mysteries Inc. gang. He's an inventor because he always thinks up new "ghost traps" to catch the bad guys, although Scooby is usually the one who gets caught in them. When Freddie gets older, he wants to be a mystery writer. Don't bug him about his ascot though, he says he likes the way it looks.

Relatives include: An uncle in the Air Force and big shot at National Space Agency; Uncle Eddie Jones, owner of the Exxxagerator Newspaper; uncle who is 1st cymbalist in the Marine Corp band.
