Some sad news, Iwao Takamoto, creator of Scooby Doo has passed away. He was 81 years old. This is another sad day for Scooby fans with the death of Joe Barbera at the age of 95 on December 18, 2006. William Hanna, Joe's partner and co-founder of Hanna-Barbera Productions, died March 22, 2001 at the age of 90. These three men help create and nurture the Scooby franchise. We send our warmest condolences to their family and friends.

I found pictures of the DVD's today on Amazon.com. I don't really like that they are calling this season 3 of "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" because really, it isn't. It should be called Scooby's All Stars, and that is where you can find these episodes on my website. All 16 episodes will appear on 2 disks. These episodes have been called the "lost episodes" because they were made to resemble the original seasons. Also, the other pic above is for the "What's New Scooby Doo" season 1 DVD coming out. It will contain 13 episodes, from "There's No Creature Like Snow Creature" to "The Unatural", also on 2 disks. I'm not sure when they will add in the holiday specials like "A Scooby Doo Christmas", "Scooby Doo Halloween" and "A Scooby Doo Valentine", but i'm sure they will be there at some point. Also, I have added pictures to my Dynomutt page, which is linked back up on the Scooby Doo Show page, at the request of a fan. These are the three episodes that the gang was on, and they are included on the Scooby Doo/Dynomutt Hour DVD.

Hey everyone, it's been awhile. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas this year! Here is some exciting news for the New Year too! January 9th will be the release of "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" volume 5 for those Pup fans. I really think this will end up coming out as a season set too, but not for quite a long time. I'll just hold on for it. Then February 20th will be the release of "What's New Scooby Doo" Season 1 for around $20! I know this is a kick in the pants to some of us who may own up to 10 of these volumes, especially since this will cost a fraction of the price, but i'm looking forward to getting this, since I don't own them all. We will be looking forward to the release of seasons 2 & 3 also. Then for the big one, April 10th, will be the relase of the remaing "Scooby Doo, Where Are You?" episodes. These will be the episodes from the Scooby All Stars page. This is exciting with so many new disks coming out! This set will cost around $35-$40.
Also, I promise I will get up clips from the other episodes of "Shaggy and Scooby Doo, Get A Clue". This series has been really bad to me, so I haven't been keeping up with them, but I do have them on my DVR, so I will post pictures soon, and episode guides. There is no news on when a new episode will be shown from "Get A Clue", but it will not happen in January according to ToonZone.net. More info will come later!

September 23, 2006

Today was the beginning of the new series, "Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue!". It is definately like nothing ever seen before in Scooby shows! The first episode introduces us to Dr. Phineas Phibes and his group of Field Agents who are on the hunt for Nano-Technology, something Shaggys uncle Albert has created. Dr.Phibes thinks it will make him invincible, so his group is on the search for it. Shaggy and Scooby realize though, that it is infused into the Scooby Snacks, and for now, they are only safe for use on animals. That doesn't stop the bad guys from wanting it though, as they have their own scientist to help with the formula. How long can the boys keep it safe for? And where did Uncle Albert go? The guys will work on their own for now, living in Uncle Alberts mansion, with occasional help from the gang, till they solve their own mystery.

Well, it's almost time for "Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue!". On the new "CW" Network, it will premier on Saturday Septmeber 23 at 9:00 am. In my neighborhood, thats on Detroit's Channel 50. The first episode is titled "Shags to Riches", and the second one to be called "More Fondue for Scooby Doo". If you check out the KidsWB website, you can see the new Shaggy and Scooby and hear voices too. More info to come, and look for a episode guide to be coming soon to my site!

"Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue!" will begin airing on the new CW Network on Saturday September 23 at 10:30am. As was stated before, the show will be about Shaggy and Scooby Doo, with "occasional appearances" from Fred, Daphne, and Velma, and the Mystery Machine. It seem they didn't want to "drag down the energy" of the show with too many people. There will be 13 episodes, but they will follow "one grand mystery" as opposed to a mystery every episode. This ought to be interesting!

More "Pirates Ahoy" news. If you check out the WB Shop website, you can see a trailer for the upcoming movie. It looks like the combination of my two favorites, Scooby Doo and Pirates of the Caribbean (with Johnny Depp!). Also, the website gives us a different release date for the movie, September 19, over a month earlier than anticipated.

Looks like we will be getting another direct to video movie coming out October 23, 2006. "Scooby Doo Pirates Ahoy!" - "It's high-seas hilarity when Scooby-Doo and the gang take a creepy cruise into the legendary Bermuda Triangle! Spooks and scares lurk around every corner -- from alien sightings to terrifying Skeleton Ghost Pirates that like to sink cruise ships with cannonballs. If the crew can't solve this maritime mystery, they may walk the plank and become the Triangle's next victims!" Sounds great!.

News from the TV Guide website, for the upcoming 2006/2007 season. With the merger of UPN and WB networks into the new CW Network, we can look forward to a season of "Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get A Clue!". 13 1/2 hours to be exact. That would mean, 27 - 1/2 hour episodes. Does this also mean there will be no Fred, Daphne and Velma? And that definately looks like our seasons of "What's New Scooby Doo" are over too. Hopefully this will be a great show, I know I will be looking for it, but we have a ways to go, and you never know what could happen."

Well, some more information has come to light about this new show, here it goes: "SHAGGY & SCOOBY-DOO GET A CLUE!, 10:00-10:30 am: Ruh-roh! Everybody's favorite quivering sleuths -- Shaggy and his lovable Great Dane, Scooby-Doo -- are back in a new adventure that will anchor the "Too Big For Your TV" programming block. In this comedy from Warner Bros. Animation, Shaggy and Scooby live in the bling'd- out mansion of Shaggy's Uncle Albert, solving mysteries with the help of a transforming Mystery Machine which, at the click of a remote, can morph into one of a number of modes of transportation. New Scooby Snacks infused with a top-secret nano-technology allows our canine hero to fly, become a towering robot or even turn himself into a giant magnet, which comes in handy as Shaggy and Scooby-Doo carry out their new mission: protecting the Scooby Snacks and keeping them safe from those who want them for evil. SHAGGY & SCOOBY- DOO GET A CLUE! is executive produced by Sander Schwartz and Joseph Barbera, co-founder of Hanna-Barbera, and produced by Eric Radomski." This program block is aimed at younger boys, and by the looks of it, I don't know if i'm going to like it much. Well, we will have to watch to see.

March 12, 2006

You will be noticing on new look to the website soon. A few of the pages have been updated, and thanks to my sister, the rest of the site will get a huge overhaul!!

Hi! A new WNSD Volume 9 is slated to be released June 6th. It is titled "Route Scarey Six" and will contain 4 T.V. episodes, plus a bonus episode. News on the episodes when we find out.

Also, check out this site, The Ultimate Scooby Doo Website. This site has all the makings of an up and coming place to see! Check out the villains and episodes pages, very well done!

December 29, 2005

Hope everyone had a very Scooby Christmas. I sure did. I got an update on the episodes that will be contained on the WNSD Ep. 8, "Zoinks, Camera, Action". The following will be on it: "Lights, Camera, Action", "Simple Plan and the Invisible Madman", "E-Scream", and "A Scooby-Doo Valentine". This is very cool, because "E-Scream" was never shown in the US on WB. We always wondered what happened to this episode, and now we will get to see it. Those who have seen it, give it high remarks too!.

Thanks to Michael for giving me this award! I posted it on my main page too.
Great news posted on the message boards from Michael too!

The Scooby Doo/Dynomutt Hour Complete Series will be coming to video on March 7th for $44.98. Really, this is not a total and complete set for this series of Scooby, it's missing 8 episodes. It does contain the following ones though:
High Rise Hair Raiser, The Fiesta Host is an Aztec Ghost, The Gruesome Game of the Gator Ghoul, Watt A Shocking Ghost, The Headless Horseman of Halloween, Scared Alot in Camelot, The Harum Scarum Sanitarium, The No-Faced Zombie Chase, Mamba Wamba and the Voodoo Hoodoo, The Frightened Hound Meets Demons Underground, A Bum Steer for Scooby, There's A Demon Shark in the Foggy Dark, Scooby Doo, Where's The Crew?, The Ghost that Sacked the Quarterback, The Ghost of the Bad Humor Man, and The Spirits of 76.

November 2, 2005

Hi everyone! Hope your Halloween was spooky and full of mystery. For those of you lucky people out there who have the Boomerang channel, I hope you got your fill of Scooby! I was pretty sad that they didn't show a Scooby marathon on Cartoon Network. Don't forget on November 8th, the latest edition of "What's New Scooby Doo" vol. 7, Ghosts on the Go, comes out.

Also, thanks to the velmadinkley.com forum, I was told about a future release from this series, Volume 8 called "Zoinks, Camera, Action". It will contain yet to be release episodes, but since the ghost from "Lights, Camera, Mayhem" is on the front, we can only assume this episode will be included. The release date is February 21, 2006.

September 20, 2005

Its official! The newest direct to video Scooby Doo movie will be called, "Scooby Doo in Where's My Mummy". I'm not too crazy about this title, but hey, it's another new movie! According to amazon.com, the movie will have a release date of December 13. The synopsis is as follows: "Scooby-Doo and the Gang run for their mummies as ancient mysteries unravel. Archaelogist and super sleuth Velma is in Egypt for the unveiling ceremony of the restored Sphinx - a mysterious mythical creature with the head of a man and the body of a lion - only to discover a hidden tomb belonging to Cleopatra herself! But beward the ancient pharaoh's curse: "The Nile will fall, the desert shall rise and all who dare enter will be turned to stone!" Of course that won't stop Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. team from going inside and finding something even more mummifying...a cursed army of the undead! So sit down in the comfort of your own tomb and witness the most spectacular Scooby-Doo full-length movie adventure yet!". Also, extras included on the DVD are: Challenges:Escape From The Ankh Chamber Challenge Featurette:Raiders of the Lost Lunch -- National Geographic Kids Featurette, Scooby-Doo and Shaggy along with Kid "Y" discover King Tut's tomb in Egypt while in search of an ancient banquetMystery Voices -- Featurette takes you behind the scenes where the story comes to life with all the voice over talent. August 10, 2005

Another volume of "What's New Scooby Doo" #7 will be released November 8th, called "Ghosts On The Go".

It will contain the following episodes, Ghosts On The Go, Large Dragon at Large, It's All Greek to Scooby, and Pompeii and Circumstance.
Also, a new Scooby Doo video game is coming out September 12, for the Game Cube, X-Box, GameBoy Advanced, and Playstation 2. It is entitled "Scooby Doo Unmasked" and this is a synopsis from Amazon.com: "Ruh-roh! Fred's cousin, Jed, is nowhere to be found! His animatronic monsters have gone haywire and are attaching everyone in sight! It's up to Scooby-Doo and Mystery, Inc. to stop the creepy costumed creatures, unmask the mystery, and find Jed before it's too late!".

There is also thoughts that the next "direct to video" movie will be called "Scooby Doo and The Curse of Cleopatra". Amazon shows a book to be released December 1, 2005 with this name, so we are assuming that the movie will come out around then too. This is the synopsis on amazon.com: "Scooby and the gang head to Egypt in this tie-in to the newest Scooby DTV movie. While working for an archaeologist Velma uncovers the Curse of Cleopatra that can turn people to stone, dry up rivers, and raise an army of the undead. Mystery Inc. race the tomb raiders to Cleopatra's amazing treasure!". More info on this when we know.

July 18, 2005

Hope everyone has been having a great summer! Just wanted to post to let everyone know out there about this great website, Mighty Toons. This website sells DVD's of cartoon episodes. There are tons of Scooby shows on there, even ones not available before. These are all graded, and released in seasons. Cost is $6 per DVD with $3.50 shipping costs. For instance, I just ordered "Scooby, Scrappy, and Yabba" which is 3 DVD's, so it costs $18 plus s&h. The DVD's are done really well, you will be pleased. Also, for those of you looking, this website also has the "Scooby Doo Project" on DVD from a tape that I sent, so, check out the website! Also look for pictures to my site from the missing "Yabba Doo" episodes!!! Yah!

It seems todays episode was the last for season 3 of "What's New Scooby Doo". Hopefully we will get more seasons out of it, but that is up for debate. Whatever happens, Scooby Doo, We Love You!!!

Update! It seems today's episode was called Reef Grief, still leaving one episode out there we have yet to see, "E-Scream". Will it be shown? Next week they have Mucha Lucha in WNSD's place, so we may not. : (

April 15, 2005

Got pics of the future releases of "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" volumes 1 & 2. This is really cool because there are so many "Pup" fans out there who have been waiting for these episodes to come out. My hope is that they can get the other episodes from the Scooby Doo movies that that DVD is missing. Here's hoping (crosses fingers).
